Poland: Government Very Likely to Reduce VAT Rate on Fuel (Gasoline and Diesel) from 23% to 8% from February 2022

The Polish Prime Minister has recently announced his intention to reduce the VAT rate on fuel from 23% to 8% to battle inflation in the country. He further added that the reduction should come into force in the beginning of February 2022 and that the lower rate will apply for six months.
